The Self Aligning Bottom Bracket (SABB) cupset from Rotor is the standard bottom bracket cupset for the Ágilis crankset, and is also compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace, Shimano Ultegra, Bontrager and Truvativ. SABB contains a fundamental difference to every other outboard bearing bottom bracket cupset system: the bearings are held within ball-in-socket housings, allowing them to swivel into absolutely parallel alignment with each other, irrespective of any outside influences. This automatic self-alignment of the bearing races occurs independent of any possible frame imperfections or stresses such as unparallel faces, non perfect concentricity of the threading in both sides, deformation due to excessive loading, etc. Due to its user friendliness and simplicity, consumers can change the bearings without the need of any proprietary tools. Riders tired of replacing their standard bottom bracket cups from other brands can easily retrofit the Rotor SABB cupset system to their bike, guaranteeing thousands of miles of care free cycling.

• Three sizes of the anodized red SABB are available: BSA 68, Italian 70, and MTB 73. The MTB version has additional shims for E-Type top swing front derailleurs.
• Fits all outboard bearing cranksets that are compatible with Shimano's external bearing bottom bracket cupset, including cranksets that use the Shimano outboard bearing cupset, e.g. Rotor Ágilis, Shimano Dura-Ace, Shimano Ultegra, Bontrager and Truvativ. Not compatible with Campagnolo, SRAM, Zipp or FSA cranksets.
• Weights are 102g for MTB Enduro steel, 99g for Road Enduro steel, 94g MTB Enduro ceramic, and 92g for Road Enduro ceramic. Ceramic speed SABB weights are 94g for MTB and 92g for Road.
• The following tools can be used to install the SABB: Shimano bottom bracket cupset tool or the Park BBT-9 tool.
• The CeramicSpeed balls are constructed of Grade 3 Silicon Nitride (Si3N4). This is the highest grade for hybrid ceramic bearings. The Enduro ABEC-5 hybrid bearings will give you most of the benefits of the Grade 3 Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) CeramicSpeed bearings, but at a much lower price tag. Compared to the Enduro steel bearings, both type of ceramic bearings have lower friction, lighter weight and longer service life. They are also less susceptible to dirt, dust and poor lubrication.
